GRAACC Children with cancer can't wait

Στη Βραζιλία περιμένεις αρκετή ώρα για να φορτώσει ένα video. Η Ogilvy λοιπόν σκέφτηκε λοιπόν να εκμεταλλευτεί το χρόνο αυτό βάζοντας ένα buffer loading animation της GRAACC (βοηθά δωρεάν παιδιά με καρκίνο) που προμοτάρει έναν αγώνα δρόμου 10χλμ. με σκοπό να μαζέψουν χρήματα. 6 εκατομμύρια χρήστες είδαν το μήνυμα σε μια εβδομάδα και προφανώς χωρίς να κοστίσει απολύτως τίποτα!

Canon EOS: Photochains



Brief: Our brief was to promote Canon EOS, a leading brand of DSLR cameras. However, because Canon EOS targets a variety of skill levels within the photography community, we had to create a promotion which would be appealing to all levels – from beginners, to more advanced photographers.
Creative Execution: Our first step was to create a photochain, which we showcased in national television, print and online advertising. This directed people to the photochains website, where they could upload photos to continue the chain we had started. Once online, people could also start their own photochains, or join those created by others. People soon became the medium for the campaign, inviting friends, family and colleagues to join their photochains. As the photochains network grew, we ran real photochains and the photographers who had created them, in our national advertising. This constantly showcased the live network of photochains, integrating the growing community with the advertising itself, as a way to constantly attract a growing audience.

Creative Solution: Our solution was ‘EOS Photochains’ – A new way for people to be inspired, that would literally spread from one photographer to the next as a new creative experience. By transforming photography from something people traditionally do on their own into a unique way to connect with others, Photochains is growing as its own social network of photography, and a new creative experience. Our desired outcome was to create an idea that photographers would embrace in their everyday lives, grew a new community of photography online, and was inextricably linked with the Canon EOS brand. Photochains was created by integrating the advertising, live photochains network and photographers as one.
Results:
Photochains is now growing as its own social media platform which continues to grow with every photo, as a way for Canon EOS to be a brand which stands for creative inspiration. Photochains has created a new way for photographers to connect through photography, as well as a new dialogue between Canon EOS and the photographic community: – 94 photos uploaded every day since launch, which is 4 photos an hour – 12 minutes average time on website – Over 20,000 photos uploaded from around Australia to date – Canon EOS has risen to a record 67% market share in Australia since launch

Bang & Olufsen: Audio Annual Report


Brief: More than 80 years of Danish craftsmanship have turned Bang & Olufsen into an outstanding premium brand for hifi- and tv-systems. Each product meets highest standards in exclusiveness, quality and innovation. In 2009, Bang & Olufsen launched an expanded innovation campaign, including the introduction of various new products. The annual report 2008/09 should also be presented in a new, exceptional mode, to support the campaign and alter the innovative image of the brand. The target audience consisted of special shareholders and customers.

Creative Execution: The audio annual report perfectly reflects the core characteristics of Bang & Olufsen: quality, innovation and design. Listening to the annual report, the customer/shareholder is able to experience all three of these features: they hear extraordinary sound quality, receive facts and data in a completely new way and obtain an annual report in the form of a design object. Therefore, the idea is highly relevant to the products, and the brand.

Creative Solution: In order to achieve maximum attention and high response rates, we produced the first audio annual report worldwide. The most prominent excerpts of the annual report were interpreted and transferred into music by a renowned opera ensemble. An amazing work of arias, overtures and chorales was created. The premium edition, a design adaptation of the B&O-classic BeoSound 9000, was sent to a limited number of special shareholders and customers. The basic edition, an elegant metal CD case, was sent to selected shareholders and customers. In addition, each package included the complete annual report as a PDF.

Results: The audio version of the annual report lead to extraordinary response rates of 37% for the premium version and 24% for the basic version. Customers, as well as shareholders were enthusiastic about the idea and the high-quality production. At exhibitions, in B&O shops and in investment talks the annual report strongly increased interest for the brand and demand for novelties. Due to the highly positive feedback, an audio version of the upcoming annual report 2009/10 is planned for the international market.

Description of Ambient execution: Solidarités International created a “talking wall of water” to generate public awareness of the devastating impact of unsanitary water. Contaminated water is still the primary cause of death in the world today. Each year, it leads to deadly illnesses in some 8 million people, including 1.5 million children: cholera, typhoid, malaria, diarrhea, trachoma…. To speak out against this tragedy in a totally new way, the humanitarian aid organization, Solidarités International, specialized in meeting people’s most essential needs (including safe drinking water), put together a revolutionary public event featuring a “talking” wall of water. This temporary installation, conceived and designed by us, conveyed poignant messages specifically intended to capture the attention of the many by-passers and to get them to realize the dangers of dirty water, in preparation for the World Water Day on Monday, 22 March 2010.

Roger Federer for Wilson

Wilson Racquet Sports, a unit of Chicago-based Wilson Sporting Goods, has kicked off a new campaign featuring pro tennis player Roger Federer, who boasts the brand's BLX tennis racquets.

The first of four 45-second spots breaks on TV on June 21. Wilson, however, is previewing the spot online this week on YouTube and on Federer's Facebook fan page, which has more than 3.5 million fans. Doner created the campaign.

The narrator reads a text of a story that is shown in the form of a cartoon in black and white. At the end of the story, the lettering is displayed asking the person to pay attention to the white parts of the same animations and then to follow a new story. At the end of this new story, it is explained that black and white are different stories thus explaining the two products Skip White and Skip Black, each specialists in washing their designated color.

MINI Cooper S versus the Porsche 911 Carrera S (έχει τα διπλάσια άλογα από το Mini).  Έφτιαξαν σελίδα στο facebook, έβαλαν καταχώρηση στους NY TIMES και απολαμβάνουν τη δημοσιότητα.

Η Volkswagen ξεκίνησε μια νέα σειρά guerilla ενεργειών για το Golf GTI σε συνέχεια του Fun Theory, ονόματι "Fast Lane: driven by fun". Έχουν ανεβάσει στο youtube ήδη 3 guerrilla stunts και στη συνέχεια θα κάνουν ένα διαγωνισμό που θα καλούν το κοινό να ανεβάσει δικά του video.

Singapore Navy - Find Sgt. Lim

50-meter billboards were placed in high traffic locations, and participants had to scour the billboards for Sgt Lim who was hidden amongst an ocean of decoys. They then had to capture the image on their camera phone and Bluetooth/SMS the coordinates to the Command Centre on the Navy Website – all for a chance to win amazing prizes.

Cadbury Flake, the iconic British chocolate brand long famed for its Flake Girls enjoying sensual, indulgent moments of pleasure, is launching a new TV campaign, which will air Tuesday 8thJune, 8.30pm on Channel 4. Taking three weeks to create with 200 metres of fabric, the yellow dress becomes an analogy for the beautiful folds of the Flake chocolate itself. As the model spins slowly, the ruffles of her yellow dress swirl around her and delicately envelop her. Created by Fallon and esteemed Director Baillie Walsh, most famous for his stunning cinematic imagery in films such as "Flashbacks of a Fool" with Daniel Craig and the critically acclaimed Oasis documentary, "Lord don't slow me down", the subject of his lens is undoubtedly the sensational dress produced by Couture Designer Anthony Price and donned by ethereal Russian Model Yulia Lobova.

Samsung has converted its 3D projection into the first game-take-over on YouTube



In late May, Samsung was the first to introduce a commercial 3D projection in the Netherlands, adding a whole new dimension to the historic Beurs van Berlage building in Amsterdam. Starting June 7th, this projection will be integrated into the first game-take-over on YouTube. At first, it appears as if a normal video of the projection is being shown. That is until the YouTube page cracks, butterflies start flying out of the projection, and the new dimension of Samsung 3D takes over the page.
