Yaocho: The Sleeping Drunks Billboard

This stunt will make all drinkers in Tokyo to think twice before they drink. There is a big problem in Japan with thousands of people who drink till they drop and sleep on the street. To address the problem of Drunk Sleeping, the bar chain Yaocho with the help of Ogilvy & Mather and Geometry Global, turned sleeping drunks into human billboards against excessive drinking. All they needed was duck tape, printed headlines, logos and a hashtag. See the case study.

DHL: Trojan Mailing

Guerilla marketing at its best. DHL made its rivals UPS, TNT and DPD advertise DHL's services. They hired the competition to deliver large black packages taped all over with thermoactive foil. When competitors went to deliver the packages, the heat worked its magic and the message DHL is faster appeared.

Newcastle Brown Ale: July 3rd "Independence Eve"

Droga5 New York continues the cheeky 'No Bollocks' campaign  for Newcastle Brown Ale by creating a make-up holiday. Turning 4th of July to its advantage, Droga 5 made 3rd of July the official "Independence Eve", urging American consumers to celebrate that last day of British rule over America. The brewer is introducing also the "Revolutionary Koozie," with the British flag on one side and the American stars and stripes on the other and drinkers can turn it 180 degress at the stroke of midnight.

URA.RU: Make the politicians work

No budget. Just a lot of creativity. Ura.ru is a local site at Yekaterinburg – the fourth largest city of Russia. They wanted to pressure politicians to do something about the quality of the roads which is terrible. So, they drew the faces of the governor, the mayor and the vice-mayor in 3 potholes in the city center, made a PR campaign out of it and forced them to stop making promises and actually do something for the roads.

Gulf News: The Headline News Cup Sleeve

Fresh news, printed on the sleeve of your morning cup of coffee. Smart and useful.
Gulf news, the UAE's leading English daily newspaper teamed up with Tim Hortons, a global coffee chain, to promote Gulf's twitter channel and increase traffic to the Gulf News website. When someone bought a cup of coffee, the headline news of the hour, were printed on the cup sleeve using a special printer that pulled out tweets from the Gulf News Twitter account. The short URL and QR code on the sleeve then directed them to the Gulf News website where they could read the full story.

Domino's Pizza: Safe Sound

That's a funny sound you never heard of. Domino's uses electric scooters in the Netherlands and in order to make them extra safe (the lack of engine sound makes electric vehicles unsafe for pedestrians)  made fake "domino's" sounds. The outcome is a both funny and creative.

MTV Serbia Pranked: Serbia got pranked

If you have the guts, you can do wonders with a tiny budget. 50€ for production and 0€ for media.
McCann Erickson Belgrade found a crazy guy who was willing to be duck-taped to a pillar and let passers-by to do all the promotion for MTV's show Pranked. Within a couple of hours all social networks, portals, newspapers, TV and radio, talked about the stunt, generating around 100.000 euros of free media coverage.

Zeeman:Guerrilla stunt at Amsterdam Fashion Week

Impressive guerilla stunt form a Dutch low budget clothing retailer. Only 7 people new about this and they fooled everyone. They worked with many professionals to launch "FRANK", a fake high priced brand, they entered the Fashion Week, earned a lot of free media coverage and surprised the whole Dutch fashion world.

Artis: Babyboom

A nice guerrilla campaign for Artis, the Amsterdam Zoo. They had a baby boom, so they placed removable stickers of baby animals in real sizes, on posters. Passers by could remove the stickers and place them wherever they wanted into town.

That's a cool low budget idea.

An umbrella store in Humburg wanted to create traffic, but they had a tiny 130 Euro budget. So they sprayed a bus stop with an invisible water repellent stencil thus getting the message across the right time; when it's raining.

Volkswagen Fast Lane

Η Volkswagen ξεκίνησε μια νέα σειρά guerilla ενεργειών για το Golf GTI σε συνέχεια του Fun Theory, ονόματι "Fast Lane: driven by fun". Έχουν ανεβάσει στο youtube ήδη 3 guerrilla stunts και στη συνέχεια θα κάνουν ένα διαγωνισμό που θα καλούν το κοινό να ανεβάσει δικά του video.

Germanwings Vs EasyJet



Η αεροπορική εταιρία Germanwings είχε τα κότσια να δημιουργήσει αυτό το viral παίρνοντας πλάνα μέσα από ένα αεροπλάνο της EasyJet, κάνοντας πλάκα με τις υπηρεσίες της EasyJet προβάλλοντας ταυτόχρονα της δικές της.
