Hyundai Genesis: The Empty Car Convoy

Very impressive stunt filmed at Hyundai's Mojave Desert test track, to showcase the new technologies of the new Genesis 2015.

We see a big truck and 6 cars behind it moving in one lane. 5 of the drivers climb out of the sunroof and make a jump to a moving truck. Stuntman Buddy Joe Hooker stays in the lead car behind the truck. He puts on a blindfold, folds his arms to his chest and he lets ASCC(Advanced Smart Cruise Control), AEB(Automatic Emergency Braking System), and LKAS(Lane Keep Assist System) work their magic when the truck hits the brakes.

This kind of stunts are Volvo's game but Huyndai's Empty Car Convoy will surely be a viral hit.

Carlsberg: Border Football

Football and beer, it’s the perfect combination to bring people together. With their new campaign, Carlsberg and Duval Guillaume took this insight one step further. In these times of football fever, they created Border Football. This new game turns borders into football fields to bring both sides closer. The online film documents the Border Football games at three of Europe's most tense borders in Belfast, Nicosia and Kosovo.

Coor Down: Dear Future Mom

A very emotional spot for World Down Syndrome Day on March 21st. Coor Down, Italy's national organization for people with Down syndrome received a letter from a mother who learned that her son will be born with Down syndrome. She asked "I'm scared: What kind of life will my child have?"

The answer came from Saatchi & Saatchi with this emotional video where 15 people with Down syndrome respond to her. "Everyone has the right to be happy" as the tagline says.

Canal+: ‘Wilhelm Scream’ Mockumentary

"The Woman Who Can’t Watch Movies" is the widow of Sheb Wooley and she can't watch movies because he keeps hearing her husband's screem. “The Wilhelm scream,” is a legendary stock audio scream, recorded by Sheb Wooley and used  in the 1951 film Distant Drums. It was named after the character Private Wilhelm in the 1953 western The Charge of the Feather River. It has been used in over 200 films since then (including Star Wars, Toy Story, Indana Jones, Lord of the Rings and more).

Canal+ made a Scream Bank, a catalog of donated screams for industry professionals to use in place of Sheb’s and invites users to record their own screams and help Linda Dotson Wooley see films again. The video is a teaser for Leave Wilhelm Alone, an upcoming documentary on the “Wilhelm scream.”

Wren: First Kiss

20 strangers kissing for the first time in front of a camera. This short film from L.A. fashion brand Wren, got over 22.000.000 views on YouTube in just 2 days. The 20 strangers where hesitant at first, they felt awkward but when they started to kiss it all changed. Director Tatia Pilieva managed to make a touching film that went viral because the majority of the people just saw the transformative power of a kiss. They believed in the "strangers kissing story".

The reality is that these strangers are not common people but professional performers. Slate says:
"The cast includes models Natalia Bonifacci, Ingrid Schram, and Langley Fox (daughter of actress Mariel Hemingway and sister of model Dree); musicians Z Berg of The Like, Damian Kulash of OK Go, Justin Kennedy of Army Navy, singer Nicole Simone, and singer-actress Soko (who also performed the melancholy indie music that accompanies the short); and actors Karim Saleh, Matthew Carey, Jill Larson, Corby Griesenbeck, Elisabetta Tedla, Luke Cook, and Marianna Palka."

Knowing this ruins the feelings you get out of the film but I guess only people in advertising will know.

Newcastle Brown Ale: The Teaser for the Trailer for Newcastle's Mega Huge Football Game Ad

I love the ingenuity of Droga5. He makes fun of Super Bowl teaser campaigns with this trailer for the Mega Huge Football Game Ad Newcastle Brown Ale would've made if they had a mega huge advertising budget.

Without having an ad in the Super Bowl he managed to top the list for teasers.

Monster.com India: Wake Up Campaign‏

A wake up call for all the passive job seekers out there. In the new digital campaign for Monster.com, an online job portal in India, we see a fish talking to a guy asking him “If I asked you a few years back where you’d see yourself today, what would you have said?".  Since you don’t get wake up calls like these in real life, you should go out there and "find better" thus delivering the brands tagline. Dentsu Marcom also made 5 teaser films featuring a little cow boy, a sheep, an opera singer, a vampire and Tarzan trying to #WakeUp the sleeping employee.

Tullamore Dew: The Parting Glass

The best whiskey film of the year comes from Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey. Authentic and with a clever ending. We see four mates walking on an Irish grassy hillside on a rainy day to reach a stone church. They have glasses and a Tullamore Dew with them. They drink the whiskey in the cemetary outside the church while they sing an Irish folk song named "A Parting Glass" to honor one of their friends. The song was recorded inside the church. I'm not going to tell you the end. Just watch it!

Beldent: Almost identical

You look better when chewing gum. At least this experiment from Del Campo Nazca for Beldent Gum (the Argentine version of Trident) is trying to prove. They took identical twins, gave one of them to chew gum and asked visitors of the Buenos Aires' Museum of Contemporary Art to answer questions like which one of the twins had more friends, had great sex, is more like to give an employe a raise, etc. From the 481 participants, 73% voted for the twins that chewed gum.

I love the work of Del Campo Saatchi & Saatchi. See more of their work here.

Electrolux UltraCaptic: The world's first vacuum art

Thai artist Chalit Nakpawan created "Power", the world's first work of art from a vacuum cleaner. The editing is very good, giving you the illusion that the vacuum creates the art. The Electrolux UltraCaptic model has an innovative system called Compact & Go feature, which compresses dust and dirt in a unique container to prevent it from diffusing in the air. Great work from Saatchi & Saatchi Thailand.

Google Earth: Saroo Brierley - Homeward Bound

The amazing true story of Saroo Brierley will make you cry. He was lost at the age of 5 after falling asleep on a train waiting for his brother. He lost his Indian family then and he was adopted by an Australian family. He searched for 25 years for his family but since he had only visual memories of the place he grew up he was actually searching for a needle in a haystack.

Then he found Google Earth and started his search from the train station. He searched and searched through India using Google Earth and finally he found the town he grew up. He went there and he fould his home and his family.

Tui Beer: Guy finds his house plumbed with beer

Cool prank from Tui beer that went viral. A bunch of guys took several kegs of beer and plumbed them into every tap in one of their friends house, along with loads of cameras to catch the action. Then they took a cold beer and watched their friend open every tap on the house and see cold beer pouring out. The branding appers only on the kegs of beer if you pay close attention.
