Fiat Street Evo: iPhone app

A small budget is not a problem. Lack of ideas is the problem. Leo Burnett Madrid, had a very clever idea for the promotion of the new Fiat Punto Evo. The target group was the tech savy generation so they made an iPhone app that treats road signs like QR Codes. People used the app to capture the signs and get relative  information on the features of the Punto Evo like the park assist from a parking sign or the breaking system from a stop sign.

To make the game more fun and appealing, hundreds of signs had hidden prizes and the first who discovered them, won the prize.

TUI.com: Bad Weather Vacation case study

Great weather is an essential part of your vacations. Especially if you live in a country with harsh winter like Germany. But what if this harsh winter gave you the opportunity to win a dream vacation?

TUI, one of the biggest tourism firms in Germany, launched last winter the “Bad Weather Vacation”: the very first bad weather competition! A mobile app tracked your position and your current weather conditions by connecting to weather stations. You had to check-in your weather conditions and the worse they were, the better your score. After a month, the person experiencing the worst weather in Germany won a great holiday in the Dominican Republic.

Nice concept. And solid. I just checked it and you can order any Mitsubishi model with knee airbags. In Greece at least you can.
