NASA: TECNOPOLIS 2013

5Seis turned learning about nuclear power plants into an amazing and fun experience. They developed 3 games for NASA station in Technopolis 2013 Buenos Aires, Argentina on different platforms. In the Game for Tablets you build the diagram of the nuclear and operate the control panel. In the Augmented Reality game you are in Atucha II nuclear power plant and you can choose the locations & look around. In Laser´s Game you take charge of making nuclear fission, aiming atoms with lasers rays and trying to generate as much energy as possible. Games are a perfect way to get more people involved and learn about science. Nice work by 5Seis.

The Volkswagen Beetle: Juiced Up

The new VW Beetle's outdoor campaign in Toronto and Vancouver offers an enhanced experience, using augmented reality. The AR animations can be seen on gigantic billboards in Toronto’s Dundas Square, as well as on transit shelters throughout Vancouver and Toronto. The animations themselves show the Beetle launching itself through billboards, jumping off of a massive ramp that appears to emerge from the side of a building, and smashing through transit shelters after racing through a long tunnel that appears to be built behind the shelter itself. All the animations serve to demonstrate that this is a much more aggressive, performance-oriented Beetle than any of its predecessors.

Augmented Reality Mobile Commerce iPhone 4 App

Total Immersion has unveiled a breakthrough mobile commerce application that uses AR face tracking to enable consumers to try -- and buy -- eyeglass frames directly from an iPhone 4.

The app pulls from the frames inventory of an eyeglasses retailer, enables consumers to try various styles, send photos to friends through social networks, connect to a map pinpointing the nearest store to buy offline, or complete the transaction online, on the spot.

Toyota Auris Hybrid (HSD) "The cleanest test drive ever" Augmented Reality
