Tai Ching: Counterfeits

Very funny. A Chinese restaurant is proud of its origin and the most important, it is original. Take a moment to look at all the logos they have created. Nokla for nokia, Like for Nike Mc Ronalds,... Great indeed.

Liaison Dangereuse: Striptease shopping

Why buy lingerie from photos when you can purchase them from the body of a model and get yourself a striptease as a bonus?

Liaison Dangereuse is a German online lingerie shop. In order to increase sales on Valentine's day they ran a campaign where you could see models in lingerie, pick the one you want and watch the model takes it off.

Great idea and the results proves it: Lots of free media coverage, additional traffic of 155% on the website and 50% increase on sales during the promotion.

Dead Island: Story trailer

A fantastic story trailer for " Dead Island", a zombie-genre game.

The story unfolds in reverse and we see a dead kid going backwards until all the family is together. Before the zombie outbreak. It's very clever that an excellent music is used instead of screaming. I'm waiting for the gameplay trailer to see if they can keep up to this one.

Lee: Never wasted

"With the relevance of eco-friendly initiatives increasing every day, Lee wanted an innovative solution that would display their affiliation towards the same and also spread the message amongst their customers. To drive the message home in a fun and effective way, we went for something a bit more inventive than just a bag made of recycled paper. The ‘Never Wasted’ shopping bag that can be reused in one way or another. Some for fun, some for function, but nothing ever goes into the trash. Not only did this make the idea long-lasting and interactive but also conveyed the message in a fascinating manner. A surge in interest from patrons forced us to produce 100 times more bags than the initial production of 3,000 bags."

Audi Super Bowl 2011: Luxury Prison

Audi tries hard to prove that Mercedes especially and all that the star on the hood reflects is a thing from a past. The old luxury. Audi is the new luxury. A modern one.

Prior to the Super Bowl, and the A8 “Release The Hounds” commercial, Audi released two videos set in a “Luxury Prison” in order to built the story. In the first 3 minutes video we see rich guys, representing the old school, trying to startle young rich kids. In the second video Kenny G uses his saxophone to calm down the inmates. The third video is the Super Bowl spot.

Great work from Venables Bell & Partners. They've created an integrated campaign, using TV, a twitter competition, and a luxury estate sale where they are auctioning off old luxury items in exchange for new one.

Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY: Android's surgery

The first commercial of the new Sony Playstation phone, called "Xperia Play".
The game is on and Android needs a couple of thumps to start playing. Since these is an illegal operation, the surgery is done in a dirty back-alley. We are used to extreme spots for the Playstation series and this spot is without question a worthy one for the Playstation phone.

Making Future Magic: iPad light painting

This is at least an impressive project.
Dentsu London used photographic and animation techniques that were developed to draw moving 3-dimensional typography and objects with an iPad.  In dark environments, they played movies on the surface of the iPad that extrude 3-d light forms as they move through the exposure. Multiple exposures with slightly different movies make up the stop-frame animation.

Google: Art Project

Seeing in person masterpieces of art is beyond compare. Unfortunately, not all of us can jump on a plane and visit the world's greatest museums.
For people craving for art or for those who just want to have a look, Google created a stunning site where you can take a virtual walking tour through 17 museums and 1.000 pieces of art. The levels of zoom, with extreme details are incredible and you can even create and share your own collection of masterpieces.
